Thank you Drew! Cheers | Remembering our founders!

Hi Polo Family! 

For those that don't know, today is the memorial of Drew Bauer, the original founder of the club and community we all find ourselves a part of today. Drew helped create SWP, and set the foundations for what it has now become - without him, we might not have our team and water polo outlet here in the desert. 

To keep his memory going strong, and to continue to grow and bring others from around the country to experience our community here in Phoenix/Scottsdale, we have an annual tournament that we host at our home pool each year. We will be continuing that tradition, and the details can be found below. More information will come in the future with regards to setting up teams, but for now, block your calendars and get ready to have a great time! 

DBI: January 16 - January 18, 2026 

Social event Saturday night, January 17 - Location TBD

We'll need the whole club to help out setup, support, and clean up for this tournament to run smoothly, so thank you all in advance. 

Today, lets keep Drew in our memories and be grateful for all he did to help create this opportunity to form the friendships we have today, and continue playing the sport we all love together.
